TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT) notification released, and it is open for UG, PG and Diploma prefinal year or final year students and, all stream students are eligible for this test as per the information from official website.
Registration Details for TCS NQT
Registration Last Date: 17-Oct-2020
Test Dates: 24-oct-2020, 25-oct-2020 and 26-oct-2020.
Eligibility
1. 60% or 6 CGPA through out academics.
2. Not more than 1 Active backlog, you must clear it before joining in TCS.
3. Age must be between 18Y to 28Y
4. Academic Gap, not more than 2 Years, exceptions may be allowed with valid documents during interview.
What is the Process for Registration?
Step 1. Register for Test on the NQT website given below

Here, you need to enter your details
a. Personal details
b. Educational qualification details with your college name, search for your college name.
c. Mode of exam may be online (Webcam is mandatory) or in-center (TCS ION centers), you need to upload your photograph.
d. in Subject NQT test section, enable programming to appear for TCS or other IT recruitment.
You should select programming test as shown in the below image in registration form if you want to be eligible for TCS Campus hiring for 2021 batch pass out students.
e. Give a tick mark in the declaration checkbox and click on submit.
If you register successfully in the NQT portal, you will get a 13 digit alpha-numeric registration number.
You will get Login details if you select ONLINE mode of exam or you will get Hall Ticket number if you select at Test Center to your e-mail address before 2 days of the exam.
You can take the test at given date by TCS.
If you want to apply for TCS recruitment, go to Step 2, if you are from BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA.
Step 2. Go to next step portal from the link given below
https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/#/
Register and select IT and specify the NQT registration number and click on Apply for Drive.
After NQT, TCS will shortlist for next rounds based on the scores from NQT.
You must have a CT/DT Reference ID to do this process, if you don't have, create it and complete the 2.
Important information given in the website

If you are a 2021 YOP (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA) and if you have submitted the application form, click on “Apply for drive”, update your NQT registration number in the Text box provided and click on “Apply”.

If your status is registered please:
- Fill/submit the application form and click on “Apply for drive”
- Update your NQT registration number in the Text box provided
- Click on “Apply”.

To confirm your application status for TCS Campus Hiring - Navigate to the ‘Track Your Application’ tab on the Next Step Portal, the status displayed should be “Applied for drive”
You must use the same e-mail id for step1 and step 2. The process of Registration is given in official website.
